Learn MoreThis year’s Global Risk Map presents country-specific security ratings based on indicators including crime, health, natural disasters, infrastructure, political stability, civil unrest, and terrorism. In 2025, instability was fueled by geopolitical shocks, trade disruptions, supply chain stress, and mounting debt. Looking ahead, the 2026 landscape will be marked by deeper uncertainty, heightened volatility, and shifts in global governance—all with implications for multinational organizations and their people.
To complement this year’s Global Risk Map, Global Guardian introduces the Global Guardian Terror Index (GGTI), a visual tool that measures a location’s current propensity for terrorism and its trajectory. The GGTI provides a snapshot of the terror threat environment to help decision makers better assess the 2026 security landscape.
