What services are included in my Annual Global Guardian Membership Fee?

Your Global Guardian Membership includes the following services, available to you at no extra cost:

Are the Mobile Tracking App and Air Ambulance platform included in my Membership Fee?

The Mobile Tracking App and Air Ambulance platform are considered Premium Add-Ons and therefore not included in the annual membership fee. Please note, there is no minimum number of Premium Add-Ons you need to purchase with the Global Guardian membership. Should you be interested in adding these services on, the price of the Tracking App and Air Ambulance drops as volume increases.

How do I enroll in Global Guardian’s premium add-on services (Tracking Application and Air Ambulance)?

Global Guardian Mobile Tracking Application

Can I use the mobile tracking application on my personal cell phone, or do I need a company cell phone?

The Global Guardian Tracking Application can be downloaded to any one phone of your choice. If you wish to have the Tracking Application on more than one phone, prior approval is needed by your organization. If approval is received, please let the Operations Center know so they can assist in the onboarding of a second application. How do I download the Mobile Tracking Application? Is it available in the app store?

After advising the Operations Center that you would like to enroll in this service, you will be emailed a Global Guardian Tracking Application invitation. This will include a link with easy-to-follow steps on how to download the mobile application. Currently, the application is available in both the App Store and Google Play Store.

If I don't want the mobile application now, can I add it in the future?

Yes. When you are ready, please contact Global Guardian at operationscenter@globalguardian.com and let them know that you wish to add the Tracking Application to your membership.

If I find myself in an emergency, how do I alert the Operations Center?

To alert the Operations Center, simply press and hold the red ‘Panic Button’ in your Tracking Application until the circle completely fills. This will transmit an emergency signal to the Operations Center. Once received, the Operations Center will place a call to your phone number within seconds to triage the issue.

What if I don’t want to be tracked at all times?

No problem – you can easily engage privacy mode. However, please be aware that this will restrict the application from transmitting your location unless you hit the ‘Panic Button’. To engage privacy mode, press the ‘Tracking/Privacy’ button on the Tracking Application Interface, then press ‘STOP’. To turn off privacy mode, press ‘START’ and your tracking capabilities will be turned back on.

I’m traveling internationally and not buying an international plan for phone use, can I still use the Global Guardian application in an emergency?

Yes. The Global Guardian Tracking Application does not require an international plan to work.

Air Ambulance – Medical Evacuation

Should I need to utilize my Air Ambulance membership for an evacuation, can I do so only on business travel, or can I use it on personal travel as well?

Your Air Ambulance membership can be used for either business or personal travel.

What if I am resident of a country other than U.S. or Canada. Can I still be covered under an Air Ambulance membership?

Yes. Simply select the International Air Ambulance membership option when enrolling.

Is having an Air Ambulance membership the same as having travel insurance?

An Air Ambulance membership is not the same as having travel insurance. While some travel insurance policies do contain limited medical evacuation coverage, their main purpose is to refund the cost of a trip in case of cancellation. Global Guardian Air Ambulance is not a replacement for travel insurance, but an additional layer of protection that is not offered by most policies.

Can I just pay for a medical flight myself, if I get sick or injured?

While you can pay for a medical flight yourself, this is a very expensive option. Domestic air medical transport services range from $15,000 to $50,000; international transports can easily exceed $100,000. In addition, you would be required to pay for the trip in advance either by a wire transfer or on a pre-approved charge to your credit card. Once enrolled as an Air Ambulance member, this service is covered for you at no additional cost.

Adding Family Members

Can I add additional family members to a Tracking Application or an Air Ambulance Membership?

If I’ve added medical support and evacuation for a family member, does that mean they are covered even when I am not traveling with them?

Yes. They are covered for a full year, regardless of whether you are traveling with them or not.


Do I need to notify Global Guardian before I travel?

Prior to your travel, please forward any automated travel itinerary to your dedicated Global Guardian Itinerary email. As long as you have downloaded and set up the Tracking Application, these automated itineraries will populate within your Tracking Application.

What is an Intelligence Brief and when do I get one?

Prior to your travel, you may request an intelligence brief for a city or country you will be visiting with valuable information about cultural, political, environmental, and safety threats. It will also give an overview of any ongoing security situations. Proximity-based intelligence alerts will be issued to your smartphone when applicable. These alerts will pass real-time relevant information for threats or developing situations that may affect your travel.

What is a Mission Brief and when do I get one?

The Mission Brief is a document that will include pictures and contact information of your driver, vehicle, and security agent, a map of your route of travel, and any additional pertinent information about your trip. The Mission Brief will also include the mission name to be used by your driver or security agent in lieu of your name or company name. You will receive a Mission Brief 24-72 hours prior to a specific trip when you have enrolled in Global Guardian Executive Protection & Transportation services.


If I choose not to enroll in Global Guardian right now, can I do so at a later date?

Yes. When you are ready to enroll in a Global Guardian membership, email the Operations Center at operationscenter@globalguardian.com from your organization’s email address and let them know you would like to enroll.
