LOCATION: Washington, D.C.

SERVICE:

When organizations host high-profile events attended by corporate leaders and public figures, the security requirements go far beyond standard venue protection. Access control, executive protection, law enforcement coordination, and real-time command oversight must operate as a single, coordinated program—and the margin for error is zero.

A corporate client turned to Global Guardian to help secure a high-profile corporate event in spring 2026 with thousands of attendees including corporate leaders and government officials, requiring direct coordination with the U.S. Secret Service (USSS).

The attendee mix demanded simultaneous coordination at multiple levels—with the client, with venue personnel, and directly with federal protective details—while also supporting individual clients attending the event with dedicated executive protection and transportation.

challenges

  • High-profile guest list requiring law enforcement coordination: The attendee profile included corporate leaders, government officials, and protected individuals, requiring established relationships with the USSS and proven protocols for operating alongside federal protective details.
  • Scale and operational complexity: The event required simultaneous management of access control, credentialing, perimeter security, executive protection, K9 support, and command oversight—all as a single unified program across a large hotel venue.
  • Compressed timeline and evolving requirements: With approximately a month of lead time and requirements that continued to grow as the event approached, the planning process demanded rapid coordination and flexibility to scale the program as needed, with additional agents and K9 assets added as the attendee profile and footprint grew.
  • Sensitive operating environment: The event required a security posture that was operationally rigorous without being visibly disruptive, protecting attendees while preserving the character and flow of a high-profile professional gathering.

MISSION AND RESPONSE

Upon engagement, Global Guardian assumed full responsibility for the event’s security program, standing up operations from initial planning through execution in approximately a month.

Global Guardian conducted advance work at the venue, coordinating directly with venue personnel to assess the environment, identify access points, and inform the security plan before deployment.

Global Guardian assembled a team of over 40 executive protection agents and additional K9 handlers from its network of vetted and trusted personnel, supported by four special operations division agents (SOD) who provided command-level oversight and additional ground support throughout the operation. Throughout the planning process, a single Global Guardian point of contact managed all client communication, conducting regular planning meetings to ensure coordination remained seamless from initial engagement through execution.

The team established a dedicated command center on-site to coordinate all security activity in real time. Global Guardian implemented full access control and credentialing across all entry points, coordinating simultaneously at the client level, the venue level, and the individual protection level with the USSS—ensuring every layer of the operation remained aligned through the five-day event.

Access control was the primary security challenge across the event—ensuring only credentialed attendees and staff could access the venue across all five days. Global Guardian managed credentialing and entry point oversight across all access locations, including securing unused points of entry throughout the venue, without incident.

In addition to overall event security, Global Guardian supported individual clients attending the event with executive protection and car and driver service to, from, and at the event.

Outcome

Global Guardian stood up and executed a complex, large-scale security operation—delivering a secure environment for the high-profile corporate gathering. Event security of this scale and complexity is a core Global Guardian capability, executed regularly for organizations that demand the highest standard of protection.

Key outcomes included:

  • 5,000+ attendees managed across a five-day operation
  • 40+ EP agents deployed
  • 4 SOD agents on-site
  • 10 K9 handlers deployed across the venue
