With a trip to Bogota, Colombia approaching, a family client had concerns about their safety while staying in the country, so they called Global Guardian’s 24/7 Operations Center for security assistance.

RESPONSE:

Upon receiving the call, Global Guardian worked with its on-the-ground team in Colombia to secure a vetted, experienced agent to provide transportation and accompany the family for the duration of their trip. The agent overseeing the family’s security possessed local language skills and critical knowledge to mitigate the risks to travelers—and knew how to blend in as to not attract any attention, including dressing in clothes that were appropriate for every activity. At one point on the trip, the agent accompanied the family on a popular hike for tourists, shepherding them along the trails at a safe distance from other hikers and maintaining situational awareness of potential threats.
