The company's server had been down for four days, losing millions of dollars per day. The internal IT team attempted but could not decrypt the ransomware. **RESPONSE****:**Within four hours, Global Guardian personnel were on an airplane heading for the client's headquarters. Upon arrival, the Global Guardian Cyber Team was briefed on the situation, took charge of incident response, created a make-shift disaster recovery plan, and negotiated payment with the cyber ransomers. Within 12 hours of being onsite, the company was back in operation. The company is now under long term cyber security management and protection.
