As of this morning:
- At least 500,000 people in Texas are still without power
- Boil water advisory in effect in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio
- The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is still operating at EEA Level 3, meaning electrical suppliers cannot keep up with the high energy demand, and additional temporary blackouts are possible
- Boil water advisories will be in effect up to 24hrs after power and water pressure are restored to allow time for environmental safety testing of water supplies
