During the attack, news outlets distributed conflicting reports of at least three active shooters at large and moving around the city.  The dynamic nature of the situation resulted in the suspension of public transportation and near paralysis in the area surrounding the shooting. Global Guardian assisted multiple clients during and in the immediate aftermath of the attack. Several clients who were situated near the shooting took shelter in local businesses and sent ‘panic’ alarms to the Global Guardian Operations Center through the company’s personnel tracking system. Global Guardian's staff located those clients, made contact, and directed the clients to initially shelter-in-place as emergency evacuation plans were arranged to assist those travelers in relocating to their offices and hotels. Throughout the event, Global Guardian’s Operations team maintained continuous communication with each traveler and corporate point-of-contacts to ensure all those involved were apprised of the situation and fully supported. Global Guardian also provided no-notice executive protection (EP) services to clients with travelers on flights bound for Munich. Using local, highly trained security teams in Munich and the surrounding areas, Global Guardian was able to greet deplaning client travelers at the airport within hours of the attacks with EP agents and security drivers to ensure their safe transit to hotels and completion of their scheduled itineraries. ##### **About Global Guardian** Global Guardian is a McLean, VA based global security firm that provides its clients with access to a comprehensive suite of security services.
