CASE STUDY: EMERGENCY RESPONSE

INCIDENT: A client had two semi-tractor trailers stopped in Mexico for hours due to a collapsed overpass.

LOCATION: San Luis Pitosi, Mexico

SITUATION:
Two semi-tractor trailers belonging to a corporate client were halted at a truck stop located four hours north of Mexico City because of a collapsed overpass blocking the road ahead. Left vulnerable to theft of the cargo they were carrying, the client contacted Global Guardian's 24/7 Operations Center to assist with securing the assets until the trucks were able to continue on their journey.

RESPONSE:
Upon receiving the call from the client, Global Guardian's Operations Center dispatched a local security team to the location of the trucks to ensure the safety of the cargo. Within less than an hour, two agents were on-site, where they immediately positively identified the trucks and photographed the security bands on the doors to provide a status update to the client. The agents then remained on-site throughout the night to provide protection and ensure that the cargo was not stolen. Throughout the entire situation, the team communicated regularly with the client, providing updates and drone footage of the area, until the trucks were able to continue their journey.

Working in concert with on-the-ground agents, Global Guardian was able to successfully secure the situation, providing a successful outcome for all parties involved.
