A Global Guardian corporate client required enhanced protective intelligence capabilities to support its executive protection and broader security operations. As operational demands increased, the organization needed continuous visibility into emerging threats, executive risk exposure, and global events—without the time, cost, and administrative burden of building an internal intelligence function.
Rather than hiring and scaling internal resources, the client chose to embed a dedicated intelligence analyst within Global Guardian’s 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This approach provides a full-time, client-aligned resource backed by Global Guardian’s infrastructure, intelligence platforms, and continuous operational support—enabling real-time threat monitoring, actionable intelligence, and seamless integration with protective operations.
Internal security team lacked capacity to provide continuous protective intelligence and threat monitoring.
Need for real-time visibility into risks impacting executives, travel, and public engagements.
Increasing demand for intelligence-driven support across executive protection and security operations.
Global Guardian delivered a centralized protective intelligence capability that enhances the client’s ability to monitor, assess, and respond to risks impacting personnel, operations, and leadership.
To rapidly stand up this capability, Global Guardian leveraged its network of qualified, experienced intelligence professionals to identify, vet, and onboard a dedicated analyst aligned to the client’s requirements. This approach eliminated the need for the client to recruit, hire, and train internal resources—accelerating deployment while ensuring the right expertise was in place from day one.
The dedicated analyst was embedded within Global Guardian’s 24/7 GSOC infrastructure. This model paired a full-time, client-aligned resource with the scale, technology, and continuous support of the GSOC.
The mission focused on incident and emergency response, crisis communication support, proactive intelligence and threat analysis, mission and personnel tracking, and continuous awareness and information sharing. Leveraging trusted alerting systems, deep and dark web threat monitoring tools, and commercial intelligence platforms, the analyst provides real-time visibility into emerging risks.
The analyst monitors global events—including natural disasters, civil unrest, and cyber incidents—to identify potential impacts to client personnel, assets, and operations. During incidents, the analyst supports crisis communications by disseminating timely updates to key stakeholders, including crisis management and operational leadership teams.
In parallel, the analyst conducts proactive intelligence analysis to identify and assess risks before they escalate, enabling faster, more informed decision-making. The analyst also maintains real-time awareness of employee locations, travel movements, and operational activity to support personnel safety and rapid response.
These capabilities translate into direct operational support across the client’s security program, including:
Social media threat monitoring and identification and attribution of potential risks.
Persons of interest (POI) monitoring and tracking.
Travel risk assessments and incident monitoring tied to executive travel.
Event security assessments for speaking engagements, conferences, and public appearances.
In addition, the analyst supports crisis response coordination, serves as a liaison with Global Guardian during emergencies, and contributes to the development and enforcement of standard operating procedures.
The analyst serves as a dedicated resource solely aligned to the client—developing a deep understanding of their priorities, risk profile, and operational needs. The analyst remains closely connected to Global Guardian’s GSOC and broader operations team, leveraging additional expertise and leadership support to ensure intelligence is continuously validated, operationalized, and aligned with the client’s evolving security priorities.
OutcomeThe embedded analyst model provides a centralized, intelligence-driven capability that enhances the client’s ability to proactively manage risk, support operations, and respond effectively to dynamic situations. By integrating a dedicated analyst within Global Guardian’s GSOC, the client gained continuous visibility into global events, faster access to actionable intelligence, and improved coordination across security functions.
